Service Agreement & Terms and Conditions

GENERAL

In this Service Agreement (“Agreement”), “you” and “your” refer to the customer and any agent authorized to act on your behalf. “Phoenix Detailing” refers to Phoenix Detailing, its owners, members, managers, and employees.

This Agreement explains the obligations between you and Phoenix Detailing in relation to all services approved by you, including deposits, scheduling, and purchases.

If you designate a person to act on your behalf, you agree that the individual has full authority to approve services and accept these terms.

These terms apply to all vehicles and substrates, including but not limited to:

● Cars

● Trucks

● SUVs

● Boats and watercraft

● Motorcycles

● Aircraft

● Industrial equipment

● Outdoor kitchen equipment

● Household or commercial appliances or equipment

VEHICLE INSPECTION

An inspection is necessary to determine the condition of the vehicle prior to service.

Washing and cleaning often reveal defects or conditions not visible during initial intake.

Phoenix Detailing reserves the right to adjust services or pricing if additional work is required to properly complete the service.

Any adjustments will be communicated via phone, text, or email prior to proceeding.

Written estimates are valid for 5 days unless the vehicle condition changes.

SALES TAX

Pursuant to Florida Sales Tax law, services performed by Phoenix Detailing may be subject to Florida Sales Tax due to the use of products other than soap.

PAYMENT TERMS

Payment for services is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed.

The fee due is the agreed service amount plus applicable Florida Sales Tax.

Approval of service by email, text, online booking, or signed service order constitutes acceptance of this agreement.

DEPOSITS

A deposit may be required to reserve service dates.

Typical deposits are $50, but may vary depending on:

PHOTO RELEASE AUTHORIZATION

I authorize Phoenix Detailing to photograph my vehicle or property before, during, and after services.

These photographs may be used for lawful purposes including:

● marketing

● advertising

● website content

● social media

● portfolio display

No personal identifying information will be shared without permission.

PRE-EXISTING DAMAGE

Vehicles may have pre-existing defects that become more visible after cleaning or correction.

These may include:

● scratches

● rock chips

● swirl marks

● oxidation

● paint fading

● clear coat failure

● trim discoloration

● interior wear

Phoenix Detailing is not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing conditions that cannot withstand normal professional detailing procedures.

PAINT PROTECTION FILM (PPF)

Drying Time

Paint protection film typically requires 3–4 weeks to fully cure depending on weather conditions.

Vehicles should not be washed for 5 days after installation.

A follow-up inspection may be scheduled approximately 2 weeks after installation.

Failure to attend the follow-up inspection may void installation warranty.

Vehicle Condition for PPF Installation

Paint protection film is designed to adhere to OEM factory paint.

Vehicles with:

● repainted panels

● body repairs

● aftermarket paintwork

may experience adhesion issues.

By authorizing installation, the customer acknowledges that Phoenix Detailing cannot guarantee adhesion performance on non-OEM paint.

Installation Expectations

Some installations utilize computer-cut patterns.

These kits may stop short of certain edges or areas around:

● badges

● sensors

● washers

● panel edges

Paint protection film is a sacrificial protective layer, not an invisible coating.

Minor installation imperfections such as dust particles or slight texture variations may occur.

PAINT PROTECTION FILM REMOVAL

Removal of paint protection film, clear bra, vinyl wrap, or similar adhesive films involves inherent risks.

The adhesive bond between the film and paint may exceed the bond strength of the paint itself.

Because Phoenix Detailing cannot verify the condition of the paint beneath the film, we cannot guarantee that the underlying paint will remain intact during removal.

Risks may include:

● paint lifting

● clear coat failure

● discoloration

● scratches

● exposure of previously hidden paint defects

These risks may result from:

● previously repainted panels

● factory paint adhesion defects

● aged film adhesive

● environmental exposure

● improperly cured paint

● unknown installation methods

Phoenix Detailing will use professional techniques to minimize risk including:

● steam removal

● controlled heat

● plastic razor tools

● adhesive solvents safe for automotive paint

Despite these precautions, paint damage may occur.

By authorizing this service, the customer releases Phoenix Detailing from liability for paint damage resulting from film removal.

PPF removal is billed hourly at $125 per hour, and exact removal time cannot be guaranteed prior to beginning the service.

WINDOW TINT

Window Tint Care

Do not roll windows down for 3 days after installation.

Windows may be cleaned after 7 days using ammonia-free glass cleaner.

Moisture or haziness may appear during curing and will dissipate over time.

Tint Removal

Removing existing window tint may require steam or mechanical removal methods.

Phoenix Detailing is not responsible for:

● scratches

● rear defroster damage

● glass imperfections

● adhesive residue

that may occur during removal.

ELECTRONICS AND WATER DAMAGE

Window tint and detailing procedures may involve the use of water.

Phoenix Detailing takes every precaution to protect vehicle electronics but cannot be held responsible for damage to:

● wiring

● amplifiers

● sensors

● control modules

resulting from normal installation procedures.

GLASS BREAKAGE

Heat guns may be used during tint installation.

Existing rock chips, cracks, or weak glass may result in thermal shock, causing glass breakage.

In such cases, replacement is typically covered by the customer’s auto insurance.

CERAMIC COATING

Ceramic coatings require 2–3 weeks to fully cure depending on environmental conditions.

During the curing process customers should avoid:

● washing the vehicle

● leaving contaminants on the surface

● parking under trees

● allowing bird droppings to remain on paint

Improper maintenance may reduce coating performance.

DETAILING SERVICES

Customers must remove all personal belongings prior to service.

Phoenix Detailing is not responsible for:

● lost items

● damaged personal belongings

● items left inside the vehicle.

If excessive clutter is present, additional labor charges may apply.

STORAGE LIABILITY

Phoenix Detailing is not responsible for vehicles left on the premises after service completion.

Customers should retrieve vehicles promptly after notification of completion.

TEST DRIVE AUTHORIZATION

Customers authorize Phoenix Detailing to operate the vehicle as necessary for:

● repositioning

● testing

● quality control

● service verification

BUYER’S REMORSE

Customers will be shown product options and given recommendations.

Final product selection is the responsibility of the customer.

Phoenix Detailing is not responsible for replacing products if the customer later changes their preference.

AUTOMOTIVE TINT LAWS

Florida tint laws require:

Front side windows: minimum 28% VLT Rear windows: minimum 15% VLT

Phoenix Detailing will not install film outside legal limits unless appropriate legal documentation is provided.

WARRANTY

Product warranties are provided by the manufacturer where applicable.

Warranty coverage may include:

● bubbling

● peeling

● fading

● yellowing

Warranty claims must be accompanied by original invoice documentation
