This year, owner Rob Johnson was selected to the elite Air Force One Detailing Team to participate in the Boeing Centennial mega aircraft detailing event at the museum of flight in Seattle Washington to preserve some historical aircraft.
The most popular being Air Force One which, was a flying Oval Office for Presidents Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, and Nixon. Being a military veteran, Rob was given the honor of polishing the tail section where the American flag is. Other aircraft were a B-29 bomber which is the type that dropped the atomic bomb and a Boeing 727 which is famous for the high jacking somewhere between Portland and Seattle where D.B. Cooper lowered the tailgate in flight and parachuted out never to be found. This lead to the invention of the “Cooper Latch”
Being third generation army veteran, it was an honor and privilege to be able to actually touch aircraft that served while his grandfather was in WWII.
